The
Barbera Pinerolese DOC "La Cavalleria"
is produced from the grapes
of the Barbera vines cultivated
on the Pinerolese hills. Maturing
in French oak barrels for 18
months produces the refined
image that evokes the equestrian
tradition of Pinerolo and makes
this Barbera an exclusive wine.
Composition: the Barbera Pinerolese
DOC "La Cavalleria"is obtained
from the grape of the Barbera
vine cultivated in the Pinerolese
region. Time of harvest: The
first 10 days in October. Production
Technique: fermentation and
maceration of the must in vats
for around 15 days; following
storage and maturation in French
oak barrels for 18 months.
It is then further matured
in bottles for six months. Alcohol
content: 13% [vol]. How to drink:
La Cavalleria is a wine characterized
by its structure and notable
personality. Therefore it can
be combined with red meats,
green salads and the particularly
tasty mature cheeses from this
area. Best enjoyed at a temperature
of 18- 20° C. |
